中音公司成立于1993年，是一家专门从事电脑音乐设备，数码乐器，数字音频及相关领域产品推广销售和研制开发的企业。中音公司是由毕业于中央音乐学院的青年教师组成。

在成立早期，为推广和传播数字音乐技术知识，中音公司编辑发行了《中音技术》，成为当时电脑音乐爱好者炙手可热的读物。到二十一世纪初期，中音公司已拥有超过两万名中音技术会员。这个数字即便对于今天的音乐市场，也是一个令人叹为观止的成绩。

By the early 21st century, Central Music Co. had amassed a membership base of over 20,000 subscribers to *Central Music Co. Technology*.
